INFOPointe Central Dispatch Station (60 Operator Tracking System):
Commonly used to track temp labor during peak seasons, the INFOPointe
Central Entry Station, allows work to be dispatched to up to 60 different individuals at any given time from a single INFOPointe station when it is used in conjunction with the INFOPoll Enterprise Edition software. This system dramatically reduces INFOPointe Hardware expenses and allows a flexible solution for many users while providing many of the real time production management and reporting tools available in the INFOPoll
® System.
Users scan their OPERATOR ID, then a JOB ID, followed by the unique TRAY or WORK GROUP ID that has been assigned to that
unit-of-work. The user then selects the TASK TYPE that they will be performing (extraction, document prep, batching, etc.) and presses the
log-in button. When a user has completed the
unit-of-work and is ready for more work, they return to the
Central Entry Station,
log-out the
unit-of-work; and
log-in a new
unit-of-work into the system.
The system requires reference data from an INFOPointe Omation Retrofit Kit; an Agissar 3 Sided Envelope Opener for envelope counts; or an INFOPointe Weigh Station for weight based
units-of-work.
INFOPointe Weigh Station:
The INFOPointe Weigh / Registration Station product, when used in conjunction with the INFOPoll Enterprise Edition software suite, allows the user to electronically tag units of work with unique identifying barcodes and assign its respective weight or registered value to that unit of work in the INFOPoll Database.
When this unit of work is logged in downstream in the process at other INFOPointe workstations [i.e.
Central Entry Station (
described in a separate brochure) or
ASED’s (
All Size Extraction Desks)], this weight can be assigned to the individual performing a variety of job tasks (extraction, document prep, batching, etc.)
